Return and Exchanges
At Betsy Pritt, we take great pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our hats. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and carefully inspected before it leaves our studio to ensure that you receive a product that meets our highest standards. However, we understand that shopping online can sometimes result in a purchase that may not meet your expectations perfectly. To ensure your complete satisfaction, we have established a clear and fair Return and Exchanges Policy that allows you to shop with confidence.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition, including all tags, labels, and packaging.
- Returns must be initiated within 30 days from the date of delivery as indicated by the tracking information.
- Proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation or receipt) must be included with your return request.
- The product must not show any signs of wear, damage, or alteration. Items that have been customized, monogrammed, or made-to-order are non-returnable unless defective.
Please note that returns requested after 30 days of receiving the order will not be accepted under any circumstances.
2. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, certain products cannot be returned, including but not limited to:
- Hats or accessories that have been worn or tried on extensively.
- Final sale or clearance items marked “non-returnable.”
- Gift cards or promotional products.
- Customized or personalized designs.
We encourage customers to carefully review product descriptions and size charts before purchasing to avoid unnecessary returns.

Once your request is approved, our team will provide detailed return instructions, including the return shipping address. Please do not send any items back to us without prior authorization, as unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the product received is incorrect, defective, or damaged upon arrival.
4. Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested item is out of stock, we will process a refund instead.
For exchanges, we recommend returning the unwanted item for a refund and placing a new order for the replacement product to ensure faster processing and availability.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with exchanges unless the item was sent in error or is defective.
5. Defective or Incorrect Items
We take every measure to ensure that each product undergoes strict quality control before being shipped. However, if you receive an item that is defective or not what you ordered, please contact customerassistance@betsypritt.com within 7 days of delivery.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos showing the defect or incorrect item
Once verified, we will provide you with a prepaid return label and either issue a full refund or send you a replacement at no additional cost.
6. Return Shipping and Processing Time
Please ensure that returned items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as Betsy Pritt is not responsible for lost or stolen return parcels.
Once we receive your returned item, please allow 7–10 business days for inspection and processing. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout. Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.
7. Refunds
Refunds are issued for eligible returned items that meet the conditions outlined above. Shipping fees, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (such as sending the wrong item or a defective product).
If you received free shipping on your order, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.
Please note: If your returned item shows signs of use, damage, or missing packaging, we reserve the right to deny the refund or issue only a partial refund at our discretion.
8. International Returns
For international customers, please be aware that return shipping costs and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Any customs duties or taxes paid on international returns cannot be refunded by Betsy Pritt.
We recommend contacting your local customs office for guidance before initiating a return from outside your country of residence.
9. Damaged or Lost Packages
If your order arrives damaged, please report the issue within 48 hours of receipt. We will work with you to file a claim and provide a replacement or refund where applicable. If your return shipment is lost during transit, we recommend contacting your courier for assistance, as Betsy Pritt cannot be held responsible for lost packages without a valid tracking number.
